CONSUMER IMPULSE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ACTS THAT ARE BEYOND CONSUMER IMPULSE'S CONTROL, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE ACTS OF THIRD PARTIES. Users who violate the terms of this Agreement will have their Consumer Impulse account ("Account") canceled and they may permanently be banned from using Consumer Impulse or the Site.
You agree that the Service may include certain communications from Consumer Impulse, such as service announcements and administrative messages, and that these communications are considered part of Consumer Impulse membership and you may not be able to opt out of receiving them. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, any new features that augment or enhance the current Service, shall be subject to the Terms of Use. You understand and agree that the Service is provided "AS-IS" and that Consumer Impulse assumes no responsibility for the timeliness, deletion, mis-delivery or failure to store any user communications or personalization settings.
You are responsible for obtaining access to the Service and that access may involve third party fees, charges and expenses (such as Internet service provider or airtime charges). You are responsible for those fees, charges and expenses, including, but not limited to, those fees associated with the display or delivery of advertisements and standard text messaging charges that will depend on the plan that you have with your wireless carrier. In addition, you must provide and are responsible for all equipment necessary to access the Service.
USER REGISTRATION, PASSWORD AND SECURITY
To use our Service, you must complete the registration process that is presented upon your acceptance of the Terms of Use. During the registration process, you agree to: (a) provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the forms, (b) to maintain and update this information to keep it true, accurate, current and complete, and (c) notify CONSUMER IMPULSE immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. If any information provided by you during the registration process is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, CONSUMER IMPULSE has the right to terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Service. As part of the registration process, you will receive a password and account designation. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and all account information. SMSs may be sent to the number you provide as part of the registration process. If you change your telephone number, you are responsible for informing us of the change.
UNSUBSCRIBING/SERVICE CANCELATION
You may unsubscribe from the CONSUMER IMPULSE service at any time by logging into your account. You will then be able to de-activate your account by updating your account settings. You will need to know your email address and password you entered at the time of registration to login to your account. Your unsubscription request will be processed automatically upon request. You can re-activate your account at any time by logging into your account and unchecking and changing the account settings.
Alternately, to opt-out from our SMS service, you can text “STOP” into S-N-I-P-P (7-6-4-7-7) from your mobile phone and we will unsubscribe you from our SMS text messaging service immediately. You will not receive any additional messages until you re-activate your account on our website.
